Automatically generate and email invoices from transaction data, eliminating manual copy-paste and document creation work.

Straight from Reddit

Every month I have to generate commission invoices for agents from a Google Sheet. Copy-paste name, deal amount, date into a Word doc, save as PDF, send. Repeat 20-30 times. Every. Single. Month.

I run a real estate agency. Every month I have to generate commission invoices for agents from a Google Sheet.

We do everything by hand (calculations, writing edits, every thing before me also has all hard paper copies)

spend about 4 hours every monday reconciling our pos system with quickbooks

the actual invoicing is done by a 3 party accountant based on this sheet

The real work, the thing you started the business to do, gets squeezed into whatever time is left.

the reason spreadsheets kill you is that scheduling, routes, and invoicing are three separate workflows that all depend on the same data (who is working, where, and for how long). when that data lives in a spreadsheet, every change has to be manually propagated to two other places.

it takes up a lot of time, not only processing them, but usually 2-10x time chasing clients for all the info required

Most are not willing to pay the extra costs

What a useful automation would help with

It could help you work out:

  • PDF invoices
  • Email delivery logs
  • Invoice archive

Based on transaction data source (spreadsheet or api), client email addresses, invoice template preferences, payment terms.
